Maine's House and Senate voted overwhelmingly to pass sweeping new legislation (LD 1539) for its medical marijuana industry. This bill strengthens an already robust medical marijuana program in Maine.

Changes include removing the limited medical conditions required to use medical marijuana. Now a doctor can issue a medical marijuana card for any condition they deem medically beneficial.
